Groundbreaking Ceremony Held for Digital Realty Trust’s 105 Cabot Street


BOSTON, March 21, 2012 — Digital Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: DLR), a leading global datacenter provider, hosted a groundbreaking ceremony this morning celebrating the start of construction at its 105 Cabot Street building in Needham, MA. The new three-story 130,335-square-foot world-class data center and office facility is located approximately ¼-mile from Route 128/I-95. The event was attended by Needham town officials, Digital Realty executives, and project team managers. Jones Lang LaSalle is serving as the leasing agent.

The new building is designed to meet the technical requirements of companies seeking best in class data center space, featuring data center solutions, redundant power feeds, and fiber connectivity. Each floor will have approximately 20,000 square feet of raised flooring and 2 MWs of IT load. The space will also include state-of-the-art HVAC systems and security optimized support advanced datacenter operations.
