Jones Lang LaSalle Deepens Talented Brokerage Team in City of Roses

Eric Haskins and Jake Lancaster join market-leading Portland operation

PORTLAND, OR. Feb. 9, 2012 — In a further expansion of the firm’s growing presence in the City of Roses, Jones Lang LaSalle today announced the appointments of Eric Haskins and Jake Lancaster, two highly experienced and talented office leasing brokers, as Senior Vice Presidents.  Both individuals are well entrenched in the brokerage community where they each built strong reputations throughout the Portland market.  Haskins and Lancaster bring to five the number of real estate professionals joining the Portland office in the last 45 days.

Haskins, who has eighteen years experience in Portland real estate brokerage, specializes in helping landlords maximize exposure for office properties and also assisting tenants in improving operational efficiencies through effective leasing, thereby reducing overall real estate costs.

A 12-year real estate veteran with experience including commercial brokerage, development, and construction management, Lancaster has experience in corporate advisory services, tenant and landlord representation and investment sales.

A graduate of Portland State University, Lancaster was one of the top office producer from 2006 through 2011 and his team was the winner of the 2010 (CAR) Bill Naito Award for the most complex transaction of the year.   Lancaster sits on the board of College Housing NW, actively participates in corporate fund raising for the American Cancer Society, and is an active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity.  Lancaster is also a member of the Commercial Association of Brokers (CAB) and an Oregon Real Estate Associate Broker.

Haskins, a LEED Green Associate and Certified Green Broker, was the 2009 winner of the Commercial Association of Realtors’ (CAR) Bill Naito Award for the most complex transaction of the year and was a Top 3 office producer at his former firm from 2003 to 2011 as well as a CoStar “Power Broker” in 2004 and 2007 for his volume of transactions in the market.  A graduate of Arizona State University, Haskins is a member of the Cascadia Region Green Building Council, the Pacific Northwest chapter of the USGBC, and is currently President of Commercial Association of Brokers (CAB).
