Jones Lang LaSalle Grows Office Leasing Practice in Pittsburgh

Firm hires industry expert to lead landlord representation business


PITTSBURGH, Oct. 7, 2011 — Jones Lang LaSalle has appointed Jason Stewart as Executive Vice President and Director of Agency Leasing.  Based in Pittsburgh, Stewart will represent investors, developers and property companies in leasing their office inventory. 

“Jason represents a key component of our ongoing plan to develop a market-leading office leasing team in Pittsburgh,” said JC Pelusi, Market Director, Jones Lang LaSalle. “His commercial real estate experience and market acumen will be an important asset to both our clients and the expansion of our platform.” 

With a career in commercial real estate spanning almost 20 years, Stewart has an intimate knowledge of the local market.  Over the years he has been involved in some of Pittsburgh’s largest office leasing and build-to-suit transactions, representing major blue-chip landlord and investor clients.  He joins Jones Lang LaSalle after a 16-year career with Grubb & Ellis.

A Pittsburgh native, Stewart is a graduate of from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business.
