Jones Lang LaSalle Completes Interior for Eaton Vance

BOSTON, MA, May 20, 2009 – Jones Lang LaSalle recently completed the interior build out of approximately 300,000 square feet of first class office space for Eaton Vance Corp. at Two International Place in Boston. The offices serve as Eaton Vance’s new world headquarters. Jones Lang LaSalle is the project manager through its Project and Development Services group.

The project on 10 floors features: state-of-the-art trading desks, a full service café with kitchen, training facility, reception areas, informal interactive meeting areas, and conference rooms. A landscaped roof terrace accessible from the office space provides an outdoor space overlooking the Rose Kennedy Greenway and Boston Harbor for employees and client entertaining. New energy efficient lighting and fixtures will significantly lower Eaton Vance’s occupancy cost. The move is a consolidation of approximately 800 employees from multiple downtown locations.

“The success of our move is being determined by our employees,” said Jeff Beale, Chief Administrative Officer of Eaton Vance. “They are already telling us that we surpassed their expectations and have made a positive and lasting impact on their work environment and their productivity on behalf of our clients.” He added, “Our effective communication and strong partnership with the Jones Lang LaSalle team were critical to our seamless move to Two International Place.”

Jones Lang LaSalle’s Project and Development Services (PDS) team was comprised of Senior Vice President Alfred Woods and Project Manager Stephen Senna. Managing Director Bill Motley and Debra Gould, formerly of Jones Lang LaSalle, represented Eaton Vance during lease negotiations. The transaction was awarded the 2006 Commercial Brokers Association as the Office Deal of the Year in Downtown Boston.

According to Woods: “This assignment is a perfect example of our platform in action. By engaging PDS and Leasing collaboratively we added value for a terrific, long-standing client.”

The corporate interior was designed by CBT Architects. Shawmut Design and Construction served as the construction manager.
