Jones Lang LaSalle Negotiates Seven Office and Industrial Transactions throughout Dallas-Fort Worth Totaling 360,476 Square Feet

DALLAS, TX, August 23, 2011 – Jones Lang LaSalle today announced the completion of seven transactions throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area, totaling 360,476 square feet.

The Tenant Representation Group completed two leases totaling 39,704 square feet:
  • Brackett & Ellis Law Firm renewed its 31,163-square-foot office lease at 100 Main Street in Fort Worth. Jones Lang LaSalle’s Senior Vice President Pat McDowell and Managing Director Todd Burnette represented the tenant. The landlord, Pescador Capital Partners, LP was self-represented.  
  • Generational Equity, LLC signed an 8,541-square-foot expansion at 14241 Dallas Parkway in Dallas, which brings its total leased space to 28,851 square feet. Jones Lang LaSalle’s Managing Director Steve Thelen and Senior Vice President Michael Swaldi negotiated the terms on behalf of the tenant.  Transwestern’s Kim Brooks and Fletcher Cordell represented the landlord, TR, IP Tower III Corp.
The Landlord Leasing Group completed two leases totaling 31,782 square feet:
  • Jones Lang LaSalle’s Senior Vice President Sandie Matejek and Vice President Shannon Brown represented ECOM Real Estate Management, Inc., at Stone Tower, located at 13760 Noel Road in Dallas, in two office leases totaling 31,782 square feet.
    • Swingle Collins & Associates renewed and expanded by 7,110 square feet, bringing its total building footprint to 17,804 square feet. Nelson Billups with Dunhill Partners, Inc. represented the tenant.
    • Carstens & Cahoon, LLP extended its 13,978-square-foot lease. Jones Lang LaSalle’s Senior Vice President Alan Wood and Senior Associate Stephen Holley represented the tenant.

The Industrial Group completed three leases totaling 288,990 square feet:

  • Touchstone Wireless Repair and Logistics, LP signed an 85,002-square-foot expansion at 4500 Cambridge Road in Fort Worth. The end-to-end wireless company now leases 216,300 square feet. In addition, the company has renewed and extended its lease. Jones Lang LaSalle’s Managing Director Dave Richards, Senior Vice President Michael Corr, Vice President Nathan Orbin, and Associates Denice Michel and Ben Phillips represented the tenant. CB Richard Ellis’ Senior Vice President John Brewer and Senior Associate Steve Koldyke represented the landlord, TIAA-CREF. 
  • Business Furnishings, Inc., leased 40,492 square feet of industrial space at Venture Distribution Center 1, located at 1100 Trend Drive in Carrollton. Jones Lang LaSalle’s Senior Associate Michael Haggar and Associate Andrew Ward represented the tenant. The landlord, EastGroup Properties Inc., was represented by Ken Wesson and Adam Graham of Lee & Associates.
  • Bell Helicopter leased 32,198 square feet of industrial space at Centreport Business Park, located at 14800 Trinity Boulevard in Fort Worth. Jones Lang LaSalle’s Managing Director Todd Burnette and Associate Matt Montague represented the tenant. Koll Development Company’s Bill Guthrey and John Dwyer represented Centreport Properties Inc.
