Jones Lang LaSalle Represents Cornfields, Inc in 108,000SF Lease

Cornfields increases space by approximately 30% in Waukegan

CHICAGO, May 18, 2009 – Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (NYSE: JLL), the leading integrated financial and professional services firm specializing in real estate, announced that it represented Cornfields, Inc., a leader in the private label and co-packaging healthy snack market, in a renewal and expansion of a 108,000 square foot industrial lease at 3898 Sunset Avenue in Waukegan.  The firm added 22,440 square feet to accommodate its product line growth.

Jones Lang LaSalle’s North Suburban Industrial Team led by Robin Stolberg and Kurt Sarbaugh represented Cornfields, Inc. in the transaction.  Jim Neswold represented the building’s owner, ProLogis directly.

“Jones Lang LaSalle conducted a full assessment of Cornfields real estate needs, including consideration of relocation options, and ultimately elected to renew its lease and expand their footprint,” said Mr. Stolberg, Vice President.  “The solution allowed them to minimize business interruption, secure a competitive lease package, and provide for needed product line growth.”

Stolberg and Sarbaugh also recently completed a 54,884 square foot new lease acquisition on behalf of Midland Paper Company, also within a ProLogis owned asset in the North Suburban market.
