Kevin Hughes joins global platform to develop innovative real estate solutions for major corporations
CHICAGO, IL Aug. 3, 2011 — Jones Lang LaSalle today announced that seasoned real estate leader Kevin Hughes has joined the firm’s Corporate Solutions executive team. Hughes, a 26-year commercial real estate veteran, will serve as Executive Managing Director and Principal within the firm’s Corporate Solutions business, responsible for developing integrated solutions for major national and global corporations.
Hughes will advise top-tier corporate real estate, sourcing and consultant teams on new real estate partnering approaches, as well as focusing on leveraging the firm’s deep brokerage capabilities on behalf of major corporations.

Hughes will be based in Jones Lang LaSalle’s Cincinnati office and will report directly to Doug Sharp, International Director.
Jones Lang LaSalle’s Corporate Solutions business works with corporations to improve the cost, efficiency and performance of their national and global real estate portfolios by creating outsourcing partnerships to manage and execute a range of occupier services.
Hughes’ role will also extend into Jones Lang LaSalle’s Brokerage business, where he will help clients and brokerage professionals realize the full potential of Jones Lang LaSalle’s service delivery platform.

Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Hughes dedicated his time as an executive and Board Member for Cornerstone Corporation for Shared Equity, a non-profit that provides affordable housing and community development through its innovative Renter Equity platform.

Prior to his executive oversight role with Cornerstone, Hughes also spent 16 years at Cassidy Turley and Colliers in many capacities including global leader of corporate services as well as directing the firm’s brokerage business, helping to boost the company’s annual transaction volume above $9 billion.
Hughes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and economics from the University of Dayton. He was a board member of the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) and active in several associations and trade groups including the Society of Industrial & Office Realtors (SIOR), Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), CoreNet, Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP). Hughes has also held board positions with the University of Cincinnati’s Real Estate School, the Greater Cincinnati Sports Corp., the Cincinnati Entrepreneurial Growth Group, the BOH Foundation, and the Cornerstone Community Loan fund. He is also a member of the prestigious Tocqueville Society of the United Way.
Kevin and his wife, Francy, reside in Cincinnati and have four children.
