Jones Lang LaSalle Adds Terry Darrow to Lead Dallas/Fort Worth Industrial Practice

Firm also adds three new brokers to bolster growing industrial team

DALLAS, May 8, 2008 — Jones Lang LaSalle announced today that it has hired Terry Darrow as a Managing Director to lead its Dallas/Fort Worth Industrial Practice.  In this role, Mr. Darrow will be responsible for growing the firm’s capabilities in all facets of industrial real estate including advisory services, investment sales, leasing and management.  Additionally, the firm has also hired three new industrial brokers to bolster the growing practice.  Kacy Jones will join as a Senior Vice President; Nathan Orbin as a Vice President, and William Wyatt as a Senior Associate.

Most recently, Mr. Terry Darrow was Senior Development Officer of First Industrial Realty Trust.  He joined the firm in 2006 to lead the company’s development initiatives throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth region. Prior to joining First Industrial, Mr. Darrow held a variety of senior level and partner positions at Dallas-based real estate firms, including Henry S. Miller, Foster-Darrow, Darrow-Hildreth, GVA Cawley, and Argent Property Company.
Mr. Darrow is an active member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and the Greater Dallas Association of Realtors.  He is a long-time Dallas area resident, and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University.

Mr. Kacy Jones will join Jones Lang LaSalle as a Senior Vice President.  In 2000, he began his career with TIG Real Estate Services.  In 2001, he was named "Rookie of the Year" by the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors. Previously, Mr. Jones was employed by Holt Lunsford Commercial. During the majority of his time at HLC he was responsible for leasing the Northwest Dallas, DFW Airport and GSW submarkets. He was named a Heavy Hitter by the Dallas Business Journal in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. During his nine year career, Mr. Jones has completed 280 transactions totaling nearly eight million square feet, producing $182 million in transaction value. 
Mr. Jones is a Cum Laude graduate of the University of North Texas where he received a BBA in Real Estate.  He also holds a Law Degree and MBA from Texas Tech University. Mr. Jones is licensed by both the Texas Real Estate Commission and the State Bar of Texas.  He is an active member of The Real Estate Council, National Association of Office and Industrial Properties and North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors.
Mr. Nathan Orbin joined Jones Lang LaSalle as a Vice President in the Industrial group.  Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Orbin specialized in tenant representation services at Jackson and Cooksey.  He has completed more than $80 million of transactions throughout his career, and was recognized in 2008 as a “Top 35 Under 35” Commercial Real Estate Professional for the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.  He is also a current member of the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties.
Mr. Orbin received his Bachelor of Science with a Minor in Business from the University of Texas at Austin.  Mr. Orbin is actively involved with the North Texas Commercial Association of Real Estate Professionals, The Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, the Spring Valley Youth Athletic Association, and the Dallas Texas Exes Association.
Mr. Will Wyatt joins the Dallas office after relocating from Jones Lang LaSalle’s Austin office where he specialized in tenant representation. Mr. Wyatt’s experience in local market research and attention to detail will assist him in serving his client’s diverse needs. Mr. Wyatt earned a BBA in Finance with a Minor in Management and received a Masters in Sport Management from The University of Texas at Austin.
