Jones Lang LaSalle Appoints Tod Lickerman as CEO of Corporate Solutions Business

Firm elevates industry leader to accelerate dynamic solutions delivery

CHICAGO, May 23, 2011 - Jones Lang LaSalle today announced it has appointed Tod Lickerman as Chief Executive Officer of the firm’s Americas Corporate Solutions business.  Lickerman, formerly CEO of the Commercial Solutions group, assumes the role effective immediately.  Stuart Hicks, who previously held the CEO for Corporate Solutions role, will assume a new role as President, Strategic Clients, focused on integrating client solutions.

“Corporate Solutions is a core strength of Jones Lang LaSalle, and we intend to maintain our market position as the preferred real estate partner, recognized for creating dynamic solutions that accelerate the productivity of our clients,” said Peter Roberts, CEO of Jones Lang LaSalle Americas. “The corporate marketplace is a challenging and competitive environment, and appointing Tod to this new role will ensure that our services not only meet, but exceed, the needs of our clients. This move also allows Stuart to leverage his two decades of experience to focus directly on solving client needs.”

Jones Lang LaSalle’s Corporate Solutions business helps corporations improve the cost, efficiency and performance of their national, regional or global real estate portfolios by creating outsourcing partnerships to manage and execute a range of occupier services. This service delivery capability helps create new client relationships, particularly as companies turn to the outsourcing of their real estate activity as a way to manage expenses and enhance productivity and profitability.

In his new role, Lickerman is responsible for leading the Corporate Solutions business and for maximizing opportunities to develop new innovations that our clients can successfully adopt.  In his previous role, Lickerman led Jones Lang LaSalle’s Commercial Solutions group, which focused on growing new business lines and channels.  He has held leadership roles with the firm’s Integrated Facility Management group and Project Development Services business, both of which he helped grow into recognized industry leaders.  He also has global experience as part of the integration team during the LaSalle Partners/Jones Lang Wootton merger.

“Tod brings an outstanding track record of understanding the needs of our corporate clients and a fresh perspective from his recent experience as CEO of our Commercial Solutions group overseeing our newer businesses. His ability to apply this experience will drive value for our clients and our business,” concluded Roberts.

Lickerman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Wisconsin and is a registered architect in the State of Wisconsin.

In his new role, Hicks will lead executive relationships with major multinational clients.  As President, Strategic Clients and Chairman of our Global Corporate Solutions Board, he will focus on strengthening and expanding the firm’s relationship with its major corporate clients by creating stronger executive relationships and understanding where their businesses are headed so that Jones Lang LaSalle can better serve their needs.

Previously, Hicks served as the Global Account Executive for the firm’s business relationship with Bank of America and had led the business development function of Corporate Solutions. Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Hicks was Executive Vice President of JMB Realty Corporation and began his career with Spaulding & Slye.  He holds an M.B.A. from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
