As the hotel industry climbs out of survival mode post-recession, owners are faced with facilities overdue for an update. Additionally, many newly acquired hotels are in dire need of renovation. This report explores some of the steps an owner should consider taking when approaching a renovation. From renovating specific areas of the hotel to scheduling the renovation during slow periods, renovations should be conducted with a much keener eye on ROI than in the past.
