Woodland Pointe: Keeping a new headquarters under wraps

Services Provided: Tenant Representation, Project and Development Services

JLL was approached by Volkswagen of America to relocate their headquarters. The relocation was to be treated with an extremely high level of confidentiality until the move was announced.  After an analysis of possible locations, VW chose Woodland Pointe in Herndon, Virginia.  Given the confidentiality, the landlord signed the lease without knowing who the tenant would be. JLL’s Project and Development Services team then managed the build out of the new headquarters, delivering the first two floors after just a 12-week period with all the subsequent floors following at two week intervals.
