Shopping Center Portfolio Sale, Biggest in New England History

Tedeschi Realty Corporation, a diversified real estate development, construction and property management company based in Rockland, Massachusetts, was selling its 25-property, 1.8 million square foot retail portfolio. It would be the largest portfolio sale of supermarket-anchored shopping centers in New England’s history. Tedeschi knew there would be high interest in the sale and wanted a professional, experienced firm to represent them. They engaged our team.

Tedeschi was right. There was an enormous interest in the offering of this top-notch portfolio. By implementing a comprehensive marketing process our team was able to create an unprecedented amount of competitive bids and drive the offers to historically high levels. Our goal was to effectively market the portfolio and deliver the optimum result for the extended Tedeschi family and non-family property owners. Denver-based Dividend Capital Total Realty purchased the portfolio for $377 million. Our banking group assisted with securing $218 million in acquisition financing.
