JLL facilitates process that leads to the largest solar carport program in world

​JLL developed a 2-step screening process including usage sizing and screening sizing, compared the two, and used the minimum value as the site's potential. JLL ran multiple bids that lead to the final selection of a single vendor that agreed to sell power at a discount, significantly lower than initially anticipated.

Through this process, JLL helped the client secured a 20 year Power Purchase Agreement for 97.5 million kWh/year. This is enough electricity to power 16.2K homes. In year one, energy savings were nearly $3 million, around 15% lower than a typical utility bill would have been.
