White & Case Secures Premium Law Firm Space at Significant Cost Savings

More than 12 years ago White & Case LLP had outgrown its current office space and wanted to partner with a firm with local market expertise in commercial real estate. Its needs were simply to help it evaluate and consider new office space options. White & Case selected Jones Lang LaSalle.

We recommended space in a marquee building that had been recently improved for a previous high-end law firm tenant. These already in-place customizations greatly reduced the out-of-pocket expenses for White & Case.

As its Washington, DC office continued to grow, White & Case called on us once again in 2003, when it came time to consider renewal/relocation options. We secured a new location at a below-market rate, engineered a takeover of the existing lease and set an industry record for lease incentives in free rent and tenant improvements. Our project management team was engaged to manage the $18 million interior construction project at the new location.
