Case Study

Georgia Tech Vision, Campus Gateway, Community Anchor

Seeing its eight acres of dilapidated property in midtown Atlanta, the Georgia Institute of Technology had a vision for a mixed-use urban complex that would serve as a gateway into the campus. Georgia Tech initially selected Jones Lang LaSalle to conduct a feasibility study, and again selected our firm to create the development plans, and to serve as master developer. The $180-million-complex, which includes academic, office, retail, hotel and conference facilities, was designed, financed, built and occupied on budget and within a 36-month fast-track schedule. Known as Technology Square, the gateway is the anchor in a revitalized, transit-oriented neighborhood.
