Rockbridge Capital aquires W Hotel  - to be rebranded Le Méridien following renovation scheme

Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels represented Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. in the sale of the fee simple interest in the 275-room hotel to Rockbridge Capital.  Wischermann Partners will manage the property.

Formerly the W Atlanta at Perimeter, the property was the world’s second W Hotel upon its conversion in 1999.  As a W, the hotel was the market leader in RevPAR due to the strength of its location across from Perimeter Mall, its unique physical attributes (57% suite inventory), and its Starwood affiliation.  The hotel features a restaurant and lounge, nearly 10,000 square feet of meeting space, a fitness center, and an outdoor pool and whirlpool.  The purchaser intends to convert the hotel to Starwood’s Le Meridien brand after a comprehensive renovation.
