Complex Renovation. Historical Building. Tight Timeframe.

Services provided: Project Development Services

Jones Lang LaSalle pulls it off utilizing expert project development services skills

The College for Creative Studies committed to the complete renovation of the historic, 11-floor, 760,000-square-foot Argonaut building in the New Center area of Detroit.

Faced with complications including: immense square footage, complicated jurisdictions, mixed-used needs, surprise mechanical and electrical issues—on top of an already tight schedule—Jones Lang LaSalle provided project management, change management, cost savings and cost forecasting services to achieve on-time occupancy.

Today, the renovated building functions as designed, and JLL saved the college more than $5 million throughout the process.
