Consolidation of two locations into newly constructed facility serves up major savings for fast-food distributor

Anderson-DuBose, headquartered in Lordstown, Ohio, is the exclusive distributor for more than 650 McDonald’s and 100 Chipotle restaurants in Northeastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.

In the mid 2000s, the organization was poised for major change, specifically upgrading its two outdated facilities into one, state-of-the art, mixed-use warehouse. Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) embarked on a five-year project with Anderson-DuBose, providing site selection and modeling, real estate evaluation and negotiations, investment and construction management services.

Today, Anderson-DuBose is headquartered in a 145,000-square-foot, flow-through distribution facility. Through negotiations, JLL achieved a 10% savings in site acquisition, 8% in construction, 23% in lease / financing and 11% in state incentives. In addition, operational efficiencies allow Anderson-DuBose to continue fulfillment of the existing stores, as well as additional ones.
