Case Study

iDesk case study

Services
Lease Administration, Transaction Management

Situation/Process
Our Palo Alto office had been pursuing Coherent for a number of years before Jones Lang LaSalle was hired. The company was growing globally and realized quickly that they needed help handling their international real estate transactions needs.

A partnership with Jones Lang LaSalle and the International Desk (iDesk) team was the perfect solution to help this laser manufacturer take a more strategic look at its portfolio and manage it in a more efficient way. Now leveraging Jones Lang LaSalle’s expertise and global platform, they achieve consistency in their internal real estate service delivery, as our firm acts as an extension of their own real estate group.

Results
We were hired for lease administration and transaction management for 1 million s.f. globally.  Coherent was impressed with our firm’s long-standing expertise in Asia Pacific, we were hired as their single source provider for international transactions.

To date, Jones Lang LaSalle consulted on the acquisition of a 25,000-sqft manufacturing facility in South Korea. The delivery was on time and the client was very pleased. Additional transactions are taking place this year.
