    terminal operator in the U.S.
  • SSA largest Pacific terminal operator at Port of Los Angeles, Oakland and Seattle.
  • Los Angeles and Seattle become port constrained; customer demand forces
    relocation of container staging to off-dock location.
  • Identify suitable off-site locations within 1 mile of seaport terminals.
  • Facilitate permitting and approvals for conversion of properties too allow for
    container stacking, outside equipment storage, and 24/7 hours of operation.
  • Assist with public notification and community awareness program to gain
    community support and minimize opposition.
  • Facilitate endorsement of selected sites by client customer.
  • 2 hard to find container depot land sites successfully identified within 2 weeks.
  • All required permitting and approvals obtained in timely manner. Port of Los
    Angeles endorsement secured to minimize political opposition to off-dock
    operation and negotiate operational compromise with local neighborhoods.
  • Client was able to accommodate its carrier line customer in time to meet
    performance deadlines and economic thresholds.
