Case Study

Navistar

Navistar International Corporation is a leading transportation solutions provider specializing in the manufacture, sales and support of trucks, buses and diesel engines. Over the past decade, Jones Lang LaSalle has provided strategy and transaction services to Navistar for office, warehouse and distribution facilities totaling over 3 million square feet throughout North America.

In order to meet its operational needs and growth projections, Navistar recently sought to consolidate several operations into one location. The Jones Lang LaSalle team helped Navistar identify, secure and redevelop a 1.2 million square foot world headquarters and product development campus in Warrenville, IL. The property was acquired at 65 percent below market compared to other Class A suburban properties, and has a fixed price for the next 30 years.

The Jones Lang LaSalle team also helped redefine Navistar’s North American parts distribution network through strategic upgrades, resizing and relocation opportunities. Jones Lang LaSalle created real value for Navistar, and positioned the company to be more competitive for decades to come.
