Embraco North America Inc.


  • Embraco, a leading provider of compressors for the refrigeration market, needed to evaluate expanding space to support its business growth, but the company wanted to ensure that a move would provide a return on investment.
  • We prepared a comprehensive evaluation of available properties for lease in the Atlanta area, along with other Southeast cities under consideration. A comprehensive cost analysis of factors that would impact Embraco’s decision was prepared for the client, taking into consideration costs involved in renewing the existing lease or leasing additional space in another building to accommodate growth. We also evaluated costs associated with transportation, labor and the cost of the move itself.


  • After analyzing suitable property options, we negotiated a lease for a larger, 125,000-square-foot facility in Suwanee, Ga.
  • The move improved the company’s operating efficiencies and reduced its real estate costs by more than $500,000 over the term of the lease.
