McCarter & English: The burden of proof evidenced by winning results

When McCarter & English relocated their Boston offices to 265 Franklin Street, they selected Jones Lang LaSalle Construction to perform the 64,000 square foot interior build-out and based this award on the supportive and informative preconstruction services we successfully provided to the firm almost a year and a half earlier while McCarter & English was still analyzing their location options.

By utilizing the same construction provider for both preconstruction and for the actual build-out of their 265 Franklin Street offices, McCarter & English benefited from a streamlined construction process in which our early constructability and planning in-sight enabled the Jones Lang LaSalle’s Construction Team to complete this build-out in just six months – earlier then the client even anticipated.

This time window provided a one month overlap for the firm to occupy their old offices while strategically moving into their new space, which significantly minimized downtime and disruption to the firm’s daily operations. Our due diligence fostered a collaborative partnership with Jones Lang LaSalle and our construction group has subsequently performed the 24,000 square foot renovation of McCarter & English’s Hartford, Connecticut offices.
