Energy & Sustainability: Energy Reduction

A major global corporation needed to change its habits in a big way when executive leadership vowed to reduce energy consumption across their entire portfolio by an average of 5 percent each year for five years. Our Global Energy and Sustainability Services experts were solicited to apply energy consumption best practices that we have used in our own business as well as customized for many clients.

Using Six Sigma tools, our team analyzed consumption trends and identified high-level opportunities, prioritized according to the largest return for the effort. We employed strict measurements to drive database decisions and to validate the amount that energy consumption was decreasing. We collaborated with the client to create a portfolio-wide energy team and developed a real-time, easy-to-use dashboard for everyone to track progress.
