Diversity and Inclusion

 Our commitment

Our firm is committed to integrating qualified and certified diverse suppliers into the provisioning of services for its clients. Our mission is to advance JLL’s capabilities and impact through developing collaborative business opportunities, while increasing the networking of qualified diverse suppliers. This approach ultimately enhances JLL’s value proposition, such that JLL will be better positioned to exceed our customer needs.

As part of this commitment, we actively engage in national and regional diversity councils where we make invaluable direct contact with leading suppliers, share best practices with peers and clients and increase visibility within the real estate service industry.

Our firm’s current affiliation with national diversity organizations include:

  • National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC)
  • Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC)
  • National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce
  • Association for Service Disabled Veterans (ASDV)
  • Government agencies (Federal, State, City or County)

 Supplier of Distinction Awards

JLL demonstrates value diversity brings to vendor partnerships, naming Start2Finish, a minority owned enterprise, the top Diverse Supplier in the annual Supplier of Distinction Awards.

Through its partnership with Start2Finish, JLL was able to reduce annual costs for a client by 10% for the second consecutive year, while developing and implementing new service models to maximize productivity and integrate multiple service lines.

 Top Supplier Diversity Program

Jones Lang LaSalle was recognized in the Fall 2012 edition of the Black EOE Journal as having a Top Supplier Diversity Program.

Each year, DiversityComm, Inc. (DCI) and its four diversity magazines conduct select evaluations of the nation’s Employers, Supplier Diversity Programs and Executives, Industry Leaders, Law Enforcement & Government Agencies and Colleges, Universities and MBA Schools. The evaluations also integrate findings by each magazine independently to identify "Best of the Best" in relation to outreach and accessibility to the African American, Hispanic/Latino, Veteran and Female population.

What qualifications do we look for in our suppliers?

Companies need to be certified as small, minority, veteran and/or women-owned business enterprises and have the ability to meet both our clients’ and our business needs. The following standards are used in the selection of suppliers:

  • Understanding of JLL’s business
  • Financial stability
  • Value-added capabilities
  • Solid infrastructure
  • Ability to meet and adhere to contract compliance
